Installation
Importing the pack, render pipeline notes and the folder layout.
Requirements
- Unity 2022.3 LTS or Unity 6
- Built-in, URP or HDRP – all shaders are Shader Graphs with Built-in, URP and HDRP targets
Import the package
- Open the Package Manager (Window > Package Manager), select My Assets, find Stylized Nature - Rocks & Cliffs Pack and click Download, then Import.
- Keep the Arkerion Studios/Stylized Nature/Shared folder selected in the import dialog. The shaders and small demo scripts live there; other Arkerion Stylized Nature packs use the same Shared files, so importing several packs never duplicates them.
- Built-in projects: install the Shader Graph package first (Window > Package Manager > Unity Registry > Shader Graph). Without it the materials show pink. URP and HDRP projects already have it.
Render pipelines
The demo scenes are lit for URP and also open in Built-in.
- The demo Terrain has an Arkerion Terrain Pipeline Material component that picks Unity’s default terrain material for the active pipeline. Remove it to use your own terrain material.
- The demo sun has an Arkerion Sun Pipeline Intensity component that keeps Built-in projects with Gamma colour space from washing out. Everywhere else it changes nothing.
- Built-in: the demo is made for a Shadow Distance of about 150 (Project Settings > Quality).
- HDRP: add a Volume with an Exposure override and raise the Directional Light intensity (for example 10000 lux or more), otherwise the demo scenes look over-exposed.
- GPU Instancing is off on the materials on purpose: in Built-in, Shader Graph materials with GPU Instancing can be drawn at the wrong position. URP and HDRP batch them with the SRP Batcher.
