Modules & Biomes
The five biome themes, the module types and how the modular grid works.
Biome themes
- Basic – neutral stylized rock cliffs
- Desert – warm sandy desert cliffs
- Ice – cold icy cliffs
- Jungle – green, mossy jungle cliffs
- Lava – volcanic cliffs with glowing emission
Every theme uses the same module shapes, so you can swap one biome for another and keep the scene layout.
Module types
Each biome has a full set of modules:
- Wall straight modules
- Wall cap modules
- Corner modules
- Top square modules
- Top rounded module
- Slope modules
- Overhang modules
- Ledge module
- Platform module
- Broken platform module
- Bridge module
- Arc module
They work for decoration and for gameplay spaces: paths, walls, ledges, arena borders, natural bridges and vertical level layouts.
Modular design
The cliffs are made to work on a 1 × 1 m grid. The visible rock edges are shaped irregularly on purpose, so modules placed next to each other don’t show a grid look. Some ends and borders aren’t perfectly flat for the same reason – it helps them blend into each other.
Colliders
The cliff prefabs include colliders, so you can use them for walking paths, platforms, bridges, blocking cliffs, gameplay boundaries and vertical level design. Use colliders only where the player touches a cliff; on decorative background cliffs you can remove or turn them off.
